CLEARiT Application
Privacy Policy

Clear Intradermal Technologies, Inc. (“CLEARiT”, “we”, “our” or “us”) respects the privacy of healthcare providers, practices and patients. This Privacy Policy explains how the CLEARiT Application (“CLEARiT App” or “Application”) collects, uses, protects, and manages information when used by authorized healthcare providers and approved users.
1. Application Purpose
The CLEARiT App is intended for professional use by authorized users and is not intended for direct consumer use.
CLEARiT provides technology tools that enable and support healthcare providers’ workflow. The CLEARiT App does not independently diagnose, treat, or make medical decisions.
2. Scope of This Policy
This Privacy Policy applies to users of the CLEARiT App within the United States, including users located in all fifty (50) states and the District of Columbia. This Privacy Policy describes our privacy practices and applies to information processed through the application in accordance with the applicable United States federal and state privacy laws.
3. Information We Process
Depending on how the application is configured and used by a healthcare provider, CLEARiT may process:
Tattoo and Treatment Information
- Tattoo photographs and images submitted for analysis and documentation
- Pricing-related information and estimates generated from tattoo characteristics
- Tattoo characteristics, including size, location, age, color characteristics, ink intensity, distribution, and treatment history
- Clinical workflow and treatment-related information entered by authorized users
Provider and User Account Information
To establish, manage, secure, and provide access to the CLEARiT App, we may process information related to healthcare providers, practices, and authorized users, including:
- Practice or organization name
- Practice contact information
- Provider name and professional information provided during account setup
- Authorized user information
- User roles, permissions, and access assignments
- Login credentials and authentication information
- Account activity and application usage information
This information is used to:
- Establish and manage authorized healthcare provider and user access to the CLEARiT App
- Assign appropriate user permissions
- Support secure provider access to application features
- Maintain application security
- Provide technical support requests
- Maintain operational records related to authorized use of the application
Technical Information
CLEARiT may also process:
- Device information necessary for the application functionality, security, troubleshooting, and performance monitoring
- Application usage and diagnostic information
The CLEARiT App is designed to minimize collection of directly identifying patient information. Healthcare providers may use coded patient identifiers within the Application rather than entering patient names or other direct identifiers.
4. Patient Data Ownership and Control
Patient information entered into or processed through the CLEARiT App remains under the ownership and control of the healthcare provider, practice, or organization that collected the information.
CLEARiT does not claim ownership of patient information processed through the Application. CLEARiT provides technology services that enable healthcare providers to manage and use information within their professional workflow.
Healthcare providers remain responsible for maintaining appropriate patient authorizations, consents, and compliance obligations related to their collection and use of patient information.
5. How Information May Be Used
Information processed through the CLEARiT App is used to:
- Assist healthcare providers with tattoo documentation and analysis
- Support provider evaluation of tattoo characteristics and treatment-related information
- Support treatment workflow organization and progress monitoring
- Provide pricing analysis support based on information entered by authorized users
- Enable authorized healthcare providers and approved users to access and use application functionality
- Maintain the security, reliability, and performance of the CLEARiT App
- Provide technical support to authorized users
We do not access, use or control patient information except as necessary to provide the services requested by the healthcare provider. We do not sell patient information or use patient information for direct patient marketing purposes.
6. Photo Analysis and Pricing Analysis
The CLEARiT App allows authorized healthcare providers and approved users to capture, upload, and analyze tattoo images for the purpose of supporting healthcare providers’ workflow, treatment pricing, tattoo documentation, treatment planning support, and treatment progress monitoring.
Tattoo images may be analyzed to identify and document characteristics such as:
- Tattoo size and location
- Pigment intensity and distribution
- Treatment history information provided by the healthcare provider
- Other tattoo-related characteristics
The Application may provide pricing analysis or treatment-related details based on information entered by authorized users, including tattoo characteristics, treatment parameters, and workflow instructions.
Pricing analysis generated by the Application is intended to support healthcare provider workflow and decision-making. Final patient communication, and clinical decision remain the responsibility of the healthcare provider.
7. Automated Image Analysis
The CLEARiT App uses automated image analysis technology to assist authorized healthcare providers in evaluating tattoo characteristics and organizing treatment-related information.
Automated analysis may be used to assist with:
- Identification and documentation of tattoo characteristics
- Assessment of color characteristics and ink intensity
- Organization of treatment-related information
- Generation of workflow support information, including treatment planning and pricing analysis support
Automated analysis is intended to assist healthcare providers and does not replace professional judgment, clinical evaluation, or treatment decisions made by qualified providers.
Healthcare providers remain responsible for reviewing application-generated information and determining appropriate patient care, and treatment recommendations.
CLEARiT and the CLEARiT App do not make independent medical decisions or provide treatment directly to patients.
8. Data Security
CLEARiT uses reasonable administrative, technical, and organizational safeguards designed to protect information processed through the CLEARiT App, including:
- Encryption of data during transmission
- Secure storage practices
- Access controls designed to limit access to authorized users
- Authentication safeguards
- Security monitoring and maintenance procedures
9. Authorized User Access
Access to the CLEARiT App is limited to authorized healthcare providers and approved users. User accounts are created, assigned, managed, modified, or deactivated through CLEARiT’s access control process or through authorized organizational administrators.
Each authorized user is assigned access credentials intended to restrict Application access to approved individuals. Users are responsible for maintaining the confidentiality and using the Application only for authorized professional purposes.
CLEARiT uses access controls designed to limit access to application features and information based on authorized user roles and permissions.
Healthcare providers and practices remain responsible for ensuring that individuals granted access are appropriately authorized to access patient information and use the Application in accordance with applicable professional, privacy, and healthcare requirements.
10. Data Sharing
CLEARiT does not sell, rent, or trade patient or provider information. Patient information is controlled by the healthcare provider and is not accessed, used or shared by us. Professional information may be accessed or shared only as necessary to:
- Provide Application functionality requested by authorized healthcare providers
- Maintain Application security and reliability
- Provide technical support under appropriate confidentiality obligations
- Comply with applicable legal obligations or lawful requests
11. Data Retention and Deletion
CLEARiT retains information only for as long as necessary to provide Application functionality, maintain system security and performance, satisfy contractual obligations, resolve disputes, or comply with applicable legal requirements.
Healthcare providers control patient record retention requirements and may request deletion or return of information in accordance with applicable agreements.
12. Healthcare Provider Responsibility
Healthcare providers using CLEARiT are responsible for:
- Obtaining appropriate patient consent or authorization when required
- Ensuring information entered into the application is accurate and appropriate
- Maintaining compliance with applicable healthcare privacy requirements
- Maintaining control over patient records and treatment documentation
- Reviewing and validating Application-generated information before making treatment or pricing decisions.
13. United States Privacy Rights
Users located in the United States may have certain privacy rights under applicable federal and state privacy laws. Depending on the state where you reside, these rights may include the right to request access to personal information, request correction of inaccurate information, request deletion of personal information, and obtain information regarding how personal information is collected, used or disclosed.
We will respond to privacy requests in accordance with applicable laws and may take reasonable steps to verify the identity of the individual making a request before completing certain requests.
California Privacy Rights
California residents may have additional rights under the California Consumer Privacy Act, as amended by the California Privacy Rights Act (collectively “CCPA/CPRA”). These rights may include the right to know about personal information collected, used, or disclosed; request access to or deletion of personal information; request correction of inaccurate personal information; and exercise other rights provided under California law.
We do not sell personal information. We will respond to verified privacy requests in accordance with applicable California law. 14. Children’s Privacy
The Application is intended for use by authorized healthcare providers and approved users and is not directed toward, nor can it be accessed by children.
15. Changes to This Privacy Policy
CLEARiT may update this Privacy Policy periodically to reflect changes in the Application, applicable requirements, or business practices updates will be reflected by revising the Effective Date.
